FEC and the Mongolian Embassy co-organized the “Mongolia Investment Seminar” at the Mongolian Embassy on September 25. Mongolia is a traditional pro-Japan country, and this investment seminar was held in anticipation of further cooperation. The seminar was attended by about 20 representatives from companies interested in Mongolia. After opening remarks by FEC President Ken Matsuzawa, Mongolian Ambassador Dambadarjaa Batjargal said in a speech, “Mongolia is aiming to transform into a country that adds value to resources and exports, and Japan’s cooperation is indispensable.” Mr. Takuo Kidokoro, Former Ambassador to Mongolia moderated the exchange of opinions. In response to the requests and prior questions received in advance from Japanese participants, the Embassy staffs responded politely. It was a meaningful seminar.
