FEC invited H. E. Mr. Ssu-Tsun Shen, Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan to an Executive Luncheon Meeting at the Hotel New Otani Tokyo on July 9. The meeting was held on the theme of “Current status of Taiwanese Politics and Economy, Expectation for Japanese Companies.” FEC President Matsuzawa made a welcome remark, “We are pleased to welcome Representative Shen this year also following last year, and to hold a meeting.We look forward to hearing from Representative Shen about latest Taiwanese situation.” Representative Shen remarked in Chinese about recent Taiwan-Japan relations. After the speech, Representative Shen replied to questions from the attendants sincerely and carefully one by one in a cozy environment, followed by exchange of business cards and commemorative photograph taking.
