FEC invited H. E. Mr. Marcos Fermin Rodriguez Costa, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to an Executive Luncheon Meeting at the Hotel Okura Tokyo on January 19. After the lunch in a friendly atmosphere, FEC President Matsuzawa made a remark, “Since I have intimately acquainted with Ambassador Rodriguez, I feel that he is my best friend and respect him sincerely. I’m looking forward to Ambassador’s speech today.” In response, Ambassador Rodriguez expressed his gratitude for the meeting invitation, and he talked about the current situation and agenda of Cuba, and Japan-Cuba relations.
