FEC has established national committees, regional committees, and LFEC (Women's Committee), and operates committees with a high level of expertise. Each committee organizes events aimed at increasing understanding of each country and region and strengthening friendly relations.

In addition to reports on the activities of each country's committee, the association's activities including discussions with ambassadors stationed in Japan and visiting dignitaries from various countries, the publication also includes information on diplomacy and international affairs, and columns offering diverse perspectives from Japanese ambassadors stationed in various countries, FEC executives, and experts.
