On January 26, FEC held the 88^th ASEAN Executive Meeting (Business Forum) at the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, thanks to H. E. Mr. Soe Han, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Japan.

Following the opening remarks by Mr. Masaya Tochio, Chairman of FEC Japan-ASEAN Cultural and Economic Committee (Advisor, Ajinomoto Co., Ltd.), Ambassador Soe Han made a greeting, followed by presentations by Ms. Thu Zar Phyo, Economic Counsellor regarding the investment environment in Myanmar.
