On June 23, FEC held a briefing session for its 6th delegation to Mongolia in the conference room of Senko Group Holdings Co., Ltd.
At the beginning of the meeting, Yasuhisa Fukuda, Chairman of the FEC Japan-Mongolia Cultural and Economic Committee (President and CEO of Senko Holdings Co., Ltd.) and head of the delegation for this visit, gave a speech saying, "The FEC has sent delegations five times since 2009, but this time it will be the first visit in eight years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and schedule changes. I myself have visited Mongolia twice before and have been greatly impressed by the remarkable development of the capital Ulaanbaatar and its rich natural environment. In 2022, Japan and Mongolia will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and relations between the two countries have developed into a 'special strategic partnership for peace and prosperity.' The Senko Group has also been promoting exchanges, such as holding a Mongolia Fair, and we would like to continue to contribute to cultural and economic exchanges in the future."
Next, a study session was held with Takao Kido, former Ambassador to Mongolia and advisor to the delegation, as the lecturer. Afterwards, the FEC secretariat explained the delegation's schedule and important points, and the event concluded.
