On June 15th, FEC hosted its 308th International Research Meeting, welcoming Kazuyuki Ishihara, President and CEO of Ishihara Kazuyuki Design Institute Co., Ltd. and a world-renowned garden designer, under the theme, "If flowers and greenery spread throughout the world, it will surely become a world filled with many smiles." At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman Matsuzawa gave an opening address, saying, "Mr. Ishihara has received extremely high praise worldwide, including winning 13 gold medals at the world's most prestigious and authoritative Chelsea Flower Show in the UK. Known as the 'Magician of Greenery,' he has worked on numerous gardens and landscape designs both domestically and internationally, and has been disseminating the charm of Japanese nature and culture to the world. We expect that today's lecture will provide many insights from the perspectives of the environment, urban development, and the dissemination of Japanese culture." Following Mr. Ishihara's lecture, a question-and-answer session was held with the participants.
