Executive Director Ogata visited Ambassador HE Mr. CHUM Sounry, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kingdom of Cambodia. Ambassador Chum Sunry holds a bachelor's degree in public law from the Royal University of Law and Economics, and has gained experience in the fields of press, personnel, and information at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. He has served at overseas diplomatic missions in Bulgaria, the United States, and other countries, and has held positions as Deputy Director of the Bureau of Americas and Director of the Bureau of Information. He has extensive diplomatic experience, having served as Ambassador to Russia, Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand, Ambassador to the United States, and Under Secretary of State. He assumed his post in November 2025 and continues to serve to this day.
