Egyptian Ambassador's Residence
Message
On April 3rd, FEC held its 99th Middle East Study Group (Egypt Business Forum) at the Egyptian Ambassador's Residence. First, Egyptian Ambassador to Japan, Raggy El-Etrevi, gave a speech and greetings that included the relationship between Japan and Egypt. Following this, Chairman Matsuzawa, representing the organizers, gave a greeting, saying, "It is a great honor to welcome Egyptian Ambassador to Japan, El-Etrevi, and to be able to hold this business forum today. Egypt has a civilization that dates back 5000 years, and its wisdom has brought knowledge and happiness to the world. It is also an important partner for Japan in the Middle East and Africa region, and in recent years it has developed in many fields such as infrastructure and renewable energy, and is increasing its presence as an international business hub. We hope that this forum will serve as an opportunity for further development of both countries." After that, the participants introduced themselves and enjoyed Egyptian cuisine prepared at the Ambassador's Residence. During this time, Deputy Chief of Staff Same Erqin, Counselor Osama Elsayed, and Second Secretary Enas Tahan gave presentations on Egypt's overview and investment opportunities under the theme of "EGYPT: Unlocking New Potential," providing participants with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of doing business in Egypt through question-and-answer sessions.
