On November 26, FEC held its 126th Russian Studies Meeting at the International House of Japan, featuring Professor Emeritus Shigeki Hakamada of Aoyama Gakuin University (also Professor Emeritus of Niigata Prefectural University) as the guest speaker, with the theme "Russia and the Middle East that Disrupted the World Order." Following opening remarks by FEC Chairman Ken Matsuzawa, Professor Hakamada delivered an interactive lecture.
