Message

Toshiya Ogata, Executive Director of the FEC, visited Ambassador Raghee Mohammed Mohammed El-Etrevi of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Japan. The Ambassador holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Cairo University and a Master of International Political Economy degree from the Geneva School of International Studies. He has experience at the Egyptian Embassies in Canada and Japan, and has spent most of his career at international organizations such as the WTO, the United Nations, and the World Bank, as well as as a personal representative of the President (G20, BRICS). Most recently, he served as Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs (Multilateral, International and Regional Economic Affairs) before coming to Japan in September of this year and presenting his credentials on December 4th.
