Message

Director Yushita visited the Dominican Republic Ambassador to Japan, Edward Aníbal Pérez Reyes. The Ambassador earned his bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Law at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo and then obtained a Doctoral Degree in Government and Public Administration (DEA) from the Institute of Government and Public Administration at the University of Ortega y Gasset in Spain. After joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he served as Counselor at the Embassy in Germany, Counselor at the Permanent Mission to UNESCO, Acting Ambassador to the World Trade Organization (WTO), and Ambassador to the International Seabed Authority (ISA), before assuming his current position in April 2025.
