The 21st century is called the epoch of globarization,and the movement of "people", "goods", "money"and "information"now tends to transform themselves beyond national boundaries. Considering the international situation Japan faces the most tremendous tasks to reform itself. It is now indispensable for Japan to take responsibility as amember of international community. At such a juncture it is essential for Japanese to enlarge their stocks of international knowledge.

For this reason, the FEC tries to enlighten an understanding for an international situation of the ctiizens through such programs as "the FEC Interenational Seminar" and "The Enlightenment Course for youths".
